The Re-Manufacturing Process

 Upon diagnosis of poor performance or failure, compressors and other equipment are stripped and components are inspected, a report can be generated that details our findings and if possible a cause of failure. 

M5 Engineering uses a chemical cleaning process to bring old components back to original OEM cleanliness, ie remove paint/dirt/scale and years of oil and grime from ferrous parts.  We also have access to cutting edge cleaning methods that return non-ferrous parts back to new condition

 Components that fail a visual inspection or measurement comparison to OEM specifications are discarded or assigned for re-working.  Where components are beyond repair, new components of American or European manufacture are installed.

Re-manufactured equipment is then thoroughly function tested to ensure quality, reliability and performance, before being placed in stock or dispatched to the client.

We can paint your equipment to return it back to OEM condition.  We can also re-coat your equipment with whatever choice of paint or finish you desire, just contact us to discuss your needs

Before long term storage some components exposed to atmosphere should be treated with  rust protection of your choice be it WD40 lanolin or denso tape or oil resistant bags sealed from atmosphere
